How to Install Grid/ASM for Single Instance on Oracle cloud:

Installation of  Grid/ASM for single instance on cloud:

First open the browser any browser and type oracle cloud.

And sign-in your Oracle cloud

And select the three-line bar beside Oracle cloud.

And Select the option of Bare metal and VM and Exa data

After selecting that the next step is select Create DB system
1. Select a compartment name which is you want to provide
Name your DB system which is you want to provide
Select an availability domain
Select a shape type which is virtual machine
Select a shape vm standard 2.2 2 Available Core Count, 1 Node Count which are basic if you want u can change

2. Configure DB system

Select the Total node count 1.
Select the Oracle database Enterprise edition.
Select the Oracle Grid Infrastructure.

3. Configure Storage

Select same as the given for free tier if you want you can
Add extra

4. Add SSH keys

First generate the SSH keys like private and public key and download the key
Second upload SSH public keys in pub format which is given in above image

5. Choose a license type
Bring your own license

6. Specify the Network information

7. Give hostname, Domain hostname, Host and Domain url

Private ip address is optional. If you want u can provide other wise leave it as optional

8. Provide information for initial Database

9. Create Administrator Credentials

Set the password between that characters only. Given above information about character

10. Select workload type

Select Transactional processing
And enabling database backups is optional if you want you can choose otherwise leave it

Press Create DB system

And done installation
